Our approach to copyright
Last updated: October 29, 2026
Moto X3M Guide respects the intellectual property rights of others. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in line with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws.
How to file a notice
If you believe that material on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our copyright agent, Moto X3M Guide Team, at support@motox3mguide.com, with “Copyright notice” in the subject line. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:
- a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, if one notice covers several works, a representative list of them);
- identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it, including the URL of each page on this site where it appears;
- information that lets us contact you, such as your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
What happens after we receive a notice
When we receive a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the material identified. If the material was provided by someone else, we will make reasonable efforts to notify that person and give them a copy of the notice. If your notice is incomplete, we may ask you for the missing information.
Counter-notification
If your material was removed and you believe this happened because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same address. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), it must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the URL where it appeared before;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
- your name, address and telephone number, a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
We will forward a valid counter-notification to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us that they have filed a court action to stop the alleged infringement, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notification.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances, we will stop publishing material from contributors who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.
